Is WhtColor completely free?
You can analyze up to 2 images as a guest, and up to 5 images per month absolutely free by creating an account. For unlimited analysis and premium features, you can upgrade to WhtColor Premium.
How accurate is the color extraction from image?
WhtColor uses the advanced Delta-E algorithm to match pixel data from the image with the physical paint scale (RAL system). Depending on the lighting quality of your image, it has up to 99% accuracy.
What is the RAL color system?
RAL is a standardized color matching system widely used in Europe. It ensures that colors are universally produced in the exact same tone in the construction, architecture, and industrial paint sectors.
Why should I use a RAL code instead of HEX when buying paint?
HEX and RGB codes are for digital screens (light projection). Physical paint production relies on pigments. The only way to translate a digital color into real paint is by finding its corresponding RAL code.
Are my uploaded photos stored on your servers?
No. Your uploaded images are temporarily analyzed and permanently deleted from our servers immediately after processing. Your privacy is paramount.
